Hundreds of Families Make a Splash at Dig the City giant water fight
Hundreds of families gathered for Dig the City’s spectacular festival finale in Greengate Square.
Celebrating the finale of Dig the City, the UK’s biggest summer garden festival, crowds of children and parents were armed with water bottles and sponge flowers and “ran wild” in central Manchester at the giant water-fight.
Held in collaboration with Wild Rumpus, the creative company led families on an all-day anarchic adventure through Manchester’s shopping streets, culminating in the giant water fight.
Festival organiser Nelson Beaumont-Laurencia said; “The Run Wild Child water fight was the perfect finale to our festival. It really brought out the inner child in us all, and it was great to see so many families having fun together.”
